Support and Resources During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As each of us face the many ways COVID-19 is affecting our lives and our communities, we wanted to take a moment to let you know that the SVPA continues to be here to support survivors and advocate for the prevention of sexual violence.  We know that this is a difficult time for everyone.  The feeling of uncertainly and a lack of control often feel especially overwhelming for survivors of sexual violence who are already coping with trauma and stress.

This is an important time to practice self-care regularly. Self-care looks different for everyone, and that’s okay. For some people, it looks like taking a walk, calling a friend, or eating a favorite food—whatever works best for you.  Be gentle with yourself; you’re doing the best you can.  Please use the resources on this page or reach out to us on Twitter or Facebook.  Thank you, as always, for being a part of the SVPA community.
