The Clinton Global Initiative Awards the

Sexual Violence Prevention Association

This past weekend, the Sexual Violence Prevention Association was recognized by the Clinton Global Initiative at the international Commitment to Action Conference. The mission of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is to turn ideas into action. Established in 2005 by President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative convenes global and emerging leaders to create and implement solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. Rather than directly implementing projects, CGI facilitates action by helping members connect, collaborate, and develop Commitments to Action which are new, specific, and measurable plans that address global challenges.

This process is very selective. Each year, social enterprises from around the world apply but less than 10% of those who apply are accepted.

The Sexual Violence Prevention Association was accepted and recognized for our dedication to structural social change and particular excellence in the field of sexual violence prevention. We are very honored to be a part of such an impactful organization and appreciative of all of the opportunities it has provided.
