The Problem

There is no way to accurately assess or compare universities’ sexual violence practices.
Therefore, students can’t make informed decisions when deciding which college to go to.
Current assessments are based on reported cases, which is inaccurate and misleading.
Universities are encouraged to silence survivors to suppress the number of reports.  Schools that support survivors appear to have higher rates of sexual violence.

The Solution

The SVPA Score is the first and only assessment of universities’ sexual violence practices
The SVPA Score analyzes universities’ policies, programs, and procedures for sexual violence prevention and survivor support. The SVPA Score empowers prospective students to chose the college that will best protect them. The SVPA Score corrects the record by providing accurate recognition for universities’ that support survivors
